LICENCED ENGINEER

We require a B1.3 licence engineer with type rating and current experience on AS355.
Experience on AS350, A109, Bell 429, 505,206, EC120, R44, R22 and Cabri G2 would also be advantageous.
Based at our facility adjacent to M1 jct 13.

AVIATION STORES MANAGER

Helimech are recruiting an Aviation Stores Manager to join their team. 


Summary of Role :


Reporting directly to the hangar manager, the Stores Manager will be responsible for ensuring reliable and
efficient inventory controls that comply with the standards and requirements of an aviation maintenance
facility. Manning our internal parts counter, ensuring accurate input of all stock movements and ensuring
minimum stock levels are maintained. Maintaining good lines of communication with engineers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities 
Manning the spares/parts counter, carrying out the issuance of stock and tooling to the engineers 
• Control the storage of inventory records
 • Monitor consumable stock levels and prevent shortages by notifying the relevant persons 
• Efficiently and accurately record all other stock movements in the networked system 
• Support the maintenance department by ensuring that all required parts are available in a timely manner
 • Maintaining good lines of communication with the engineering
and planning department and providing regular updates when required
 • Any other task deemed necessary as required 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required 
Knowledge of aviation maintenance programs desirable (CAFAM)

Confident with numbers and accurate data input. 
Experience within an aviation environment desirable Warehouse operative experience desirable.
Basic understanding of tool control. 
IT proficiency, good understand of MS-Office. Able to plan and prioritise effectively.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). 
Able to demonstrate due diligence and highest level of integrity. 
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. 
Able to effectively demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
Willing and able to collaborate as a team. 
Excellent customer service.
Excellent attention to detail and able to follow instructions accurately through to task completion.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00.
Holiday entitlement is 23 days per year plus bank holidays.
Salary dependent on experience but in-line with industry standards.
